By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Rolevanta is an AI-powered career platform that provides the following services:

• AI-powered resume generation tailored to specific job descriptions
• ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility scoring
• AI-generated cover letters
• Interview preparation with AI-generated questions and answers
• Job application tracking
• PDF resume export

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service.

Rolevanta offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose).

• Free Plan: Provides limited access to core features with usage restrictions.
• Pro Plan: Provides full access to all features, including unlimited resume generations, cover letters, and interview prep sessions.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

You retain full ownership of all content you provide to the Service, including your resume information, work experience, education history, and any other personal data you submit.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you (e.g., generating tailored resumes, analyzing job descriptions, creating cover letters). We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose other than delivering the Service.

The Service uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI) to generate resume content, cover letters, interview questions, and other materials. While we strive for accuracy and quality, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that does not fully reflect your experience.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before using it. We recommend carefully reviewing all generated materials to ensure accuracy and appropriateness for your intended use.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will result in job interviews, offers, or any specific employment outcomes.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your resumes or cover letters
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure
• Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access to your account
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent

The Service, including its design, features, code, AI models integration, resume templates, and branding, is owned by Rolevanta and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.

Resume templates and their visual designs are proprietary to Rolevanta. You are granted a license to use generated PDFs for personal job application purposes only.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rolevanta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or employment opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the Service or other users.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California.
